Baltimore Maternity and Newborn Photographer
Pregnancy is such a special and memorable time. These are your first moments of motherhood, and they are priceless. A maternity portrait session is the perfect way to capture your gorgeous glow and intense emotions as timeless art. With all the changes your body is going through, you may be hesitant about getting maternity portraits. The good news is that the process can actually be a fun experience, completely enjoyable just for itself! During your session you may have up to two outfits. I also provide maternity gowns made by Sew Trendy Accessories if you don't have anything to wear. The gown is included in the price.
Where are maternity sessions taken?
Maternity sessions take place in one of three locations: studio, park, field, or the comfort of your home.
All Maternity and newborn sessions begin at $350.00
The newborn stage is so fleeting and magical! Your baby will NEVER be this tiny, this sleepy, or curly. Newborn portraits are a great way to preserve this incredibly pure and beautiful period of the tiny miracle that you brought into the world.
Why is there a time limit on getting newborn pictures done?
In order to capture the true essence of a newborn, schedule your session as soon as possible!! Newborns in the first week are ideal and up to 2 weeks is fine, but between days 7-10 are preferred. Babies older than 2 weeks are more alert and start to lose that newborn freshness.
What does the newborn session include? You will receive approximately 40 edited photos. Edited photos will be color/black & white. I will also grant you access to an online shareable gallery.
Will you provide props?
I will provide props for the newborn session, if you have a favorite blanket or props you may bring them. Where will my session be held? Sessions are either in the studio, on location or your home. It's whatever your comfortable with.
Are siblings allowed to be photographed with our newborn?
Yes, siblings are welcome to be included. Sibling images are photographed either first or last, and a parent, grandparent, friend or babysitter will need to be available to take the sibling once their part of the session is complete or bring them at the very end of the session when we are ready for them. It’s understandably difficult for toddlers and older children to remain quiet and still while baby is being photographed for several hours.
Do you photograph families?
Yes! Family sessions are some of our favorite sessions. The approach taken is "love in real life" rather than perfectly posed, everyone looking at the camera, etc. The goal of family sessions is to capture your family as they are right now, and the love that you have for each other. Family sessions are a lot of fun!
